At One WillCo:
- We dialogue across racial, political, and religious lines, sharing ideas so our proposed solutions address the right problems.
- We research the data and present reasonable, actionable solutions to our Superintendent and Board of Education.
- We offer grassroots support for Black and brown faculty and staff.
- We work to build support for racial equity in our schools.
- We partner with other local organizations to strengthen our collective efforts.
- We create a safe place where community members can move from observation to action.
Our members of color lead the effort for racial equity on every front. Yet non-Hispanic, white people make up 85% of our Williamson County community. No system-wide problem, including racial inequity, can be solved without the active involvement of white community members.
Bringing different perspectives to the table from the outset is one way we save our community time, energy, and money and move toward real solutions. Our differences lead to smarter, stronger outcomes.
